Isn’t the big joke behind this episode the fact that the very house Downton is filmed in, had to resort to similar tours to make enough money to support its own upkeep? Something like that. I don’t remember the particulars. I did love seeing the Crawleys experience their own house through new eyes.
I love the dynamic between Mary and Branson. He continues to be the best. Daisy, on the other hand, is kind of being the worst these days. She’s a little like Bunting 2.0. Fortunately, I have enough goodwill built up toward her that I can handle this attitude a little longer.
Carson is insufferable.
So basically, on my crap list are Carson, Daisy, and Dickie Merton’s fiancée, though I couldn’t say why.
