First words

I think half of Miriam’s discourse these days consists of two phrases: “yellow car” and “beep beep.”

The first time she saw a taxi, she started making a police siren sound. It took me a moment to figure out that she was referring the taxi in front of us - she thought it was a police car because of the lighted yellow sign on its roof.

We’re trying to teach her the word “taxi.” But I think the "beep beep" problem is only going to get worse.
